Peter Miller
Design Director
Peter Miller founded MCK Associates in 1991, bringing with him over a decade of architectural experience. He began his career at Cassidy & Ashton in 1978 before joining Briarcroft Architects in 1983, where he developed a strong foundation in residential and commercial design.
Starting with a team of three, Peter built MCK Associates from the ground up. Through his leadership and vision, the practice not only weathered several challenging financial downturns but emerged stronger-growing to a large team and earning a reputation for quality and reliability. Today, MCK works with many of the UK’s leading housebuilders on projects of all scales.
Alongside major developments, Peter is also a master of the smaller projects and takes particular pride in the redevelopment and bespoke design of one-off new build homes. His eye for detail and ability to translate clients’ visions into beautifully tailored designs has made him a trusted figure across a wide range of projects.
As Design Director, Peter leads a skilled and committed team, working closely with developers and homeowners alike to guide schemes through the planning process with creativity, technical expertise, and strategic insight.

Paul is a Chartered Architect, with over 40 years experience in Private Architectural Practice in and around the Preston area, but also working nationally for a number of major Clients.
He has also been fortunate enough to spend 5 years working in industry for a major construction company, The Eric Wright Group and this he feels gives him a unique understanding of the design process from both sides of the industry.
Paul is registered with the Architects Registration Board, and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Paul was appointed Commercial Director in 2018 after launching MCK Commercial in 2016 to expand the Practice’s commercial capability.
